Meg is a trained artist, earning a BA in Studio Art from St. Edwards University in 2008, a background that continues to inform her aesthetic and practice as a stylist. Upon graduating from the Aveda Institute of New York City in 2011, she spent her first few years apprenticing in upscale salons in Soho and Nolita, fine-tuning her styling, cutting, and color skills. She has worked both in New York City and Los Angeles on television projects, editorial shoots, red carpet events, and directly with private and celebrity clients.

Meg has combined her talent and knowledge for both fine art and hair to become a sought after blonde specialist, creating thoughtfully customized colors to perfectly accentuate the cut, texture, and unique features of each client. She especially loves creating low maintenance balayage looks for clients who desire minimal maintenance. The goal with each balayage client is to achieve rich, dimensional color that evolves beautifully as it grows out and only requires touch ups every 6-9 months.

With an affinity for the nostalgic styles of yesteryear—sleek flapper bobs, perfectly coiffed mid-century updos, bouncy 60s Bardot inspired layers, rock and roll shags and mullets— her cuts give a modern nod to vintage looks.

When Meg is not doing hair, she is constantly engaged in a variety of other creative projects including painting, writing, collecting and reworking vintage clothing, and enjoying life in New York with her daughter Lulu and her husband Julian.
